How do users access Kiwiversity?
Kiwiversity is hosted on secure cloud servers, so you can access your school’s information anywhere there’s an internet connection. Data updates in real time, so multiple users can be online and making updates at once. You don’t need to back up your information yourself, and you don’t have to worry about losing data if a desktop or laptop breaks down.
How do I pay for my subscription, and can I cancel anytime?
Kiwiversity offers several subscription options, you can pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. If you decide to stop using Kiwiversity, simply stop paying your subscription; there are no long-term contracts.
Can teachers or parents access Kiwiversity?
Yes. Kiwiversity uses a teacher profile to simplify the teacher experience, and it can be modified to expand or limit what teachers can see and do. Kiwiversity also offers a parent portal, letting parents or guardians view their child’s information, update personal details, and let the school know whether they’re renewing enrollment, information administrators can use to plan upcoming class sessions.
Can I restrict what other users can see or access?
Yes. The main school administrator can control what other users, teachers, and administrators can access, using profiles that define each group’s permissions. A teacher profile, for example, limits what teachers see and do to just the features, menu items, and modules you’ve defined for them.
How does Kiwiversity track tuition payments?
Student tuition payments and credit hours are tracked from enrollment through session completion, renewal, or transfer to another class. Kiwiversity will always notify you if a student forgets to renew their tuition, saving your school time and money.
Can teachers generate their own invoices?
Yes. Teachers can automatically generate and email invoices based on the hours they log in Kiwiversity’s Hours module. Every time hours are logged, they’re deducted from the student’s credit balance automatically, and past-due tuition is flagged for both teachers and administrators to see.
How does Kiwiversity interface with other systems?
Kiwiversity can connect to your school website’s contact page and automatically capture prospective students’ information, then nurture those leads for you. A prospects report lists your leads’ details so you can follow up easily. Export tools also let you interface with third-party tools like Mailchimp for email marketing and QuickBooks for accounting, and Kiwiversity uses Workato Intelligent Automation to connect with any other Workato-compatible software in real time.
My school needs a specific report that doesn’t exist yet. Can it be created?
Kiwiversity releases new reports and options regularly. If your school needs a custom report, just ask, additional reports are included at no extra cost during your first year, and priced at $50 each after that (see Pricing for details). Because Kiwiversity is a cloud-based system, once a new report or feature is built for your school, every subscribed school benefits from it too, which is how the system keeps growing for everyone.
Does Kiwiversity offer an e-commerce option?
Yes. Kiwiversity’s e-commerce solution offers a simple, attractive storefront controlled by your Kiwiversity system and integrated into your website. Visitors can register for classes, buy books, purchase memberships, and make donations, all from one place.
What kind of reports does Kiwiversity offer?
Kiwiversity’s reporting dashboard generates online, Excel, or PDF reports so you can quickly visualize and analyze your school’s data. Reports are comprehensive enough to help administrators assess performance and plan ahead, and with automation doing the heavy lifting, manual paperwork is almost eliminated.
Is my school’s data secure?
Yes. Kiwiversity backs up your school data using Amazon S3 cloud storage, off-premises and secure. Backups run daily with a three-month retention period.
